Linen and cotton kelsch duvet cover dating from the mid-19th century. This textile is typical of Alsace, where bed linen was traditionally woven with red or blue squares on a white background.
One side is in linen embroidered with an LT monogram in cross stitch. The other in kelsch, a midweight cotton with pink and red checks on an off-white background.
The cover closes with blue and white ties.
Used condition with some bluish marks on the linen side and three small holes, but good condition considering its age!
washed and ironed.
